Can you believe it's been almost a year since the committee of one has released a set of Power Rankings? What the hell is wrong with me? I should be fired on the spot. (Higher ups, if you're reading this...don't listen to that part.)

So, due to the long layoff, we're starting things fresh here in the Power Rankings. Hope you enjoy my input...if not...well...you clicked on the page...it's your fault not mine. Without further adieu...

REASONING

There's really no argument here despite the fight that the next few stars will put up. Cable has been on an absolute tear since re-emerging in the IWF. He ran through the Heir To The Throne and became Imperial Champion, still holding that title today. The leader of the House has quite the resume...but all doesn't seem well in the House of Howlett.

#2

These next two are interchangeable as both had great years in 2016, and basically just flipped positions on the totem pole. Eternity is the longest reigning champion ever and has her claws on the Shieldmaiden with no intention of letting it go. Who's going to step up to the plate?

#3

-

-

The only reason she's not #2 is due to the fact that Eternity is the longest reigning champion ever. Paige tore through the Diamonds Division, becoming the longest reigning Shieldmaiden in the process. She then became Diamonds Champion with a huge win over Jessica Reed, something few others have done. Can anyone take that title from the self-proclaimed Queen?

#4

He defeated Noah Field at Metamorphosis to win his second title here in the IWF. That combined with some antics from others finds him in the #4 spot on the list. If he continues his winning ways he may have a shot at displacing one of the top 3.

Part of me wanted to put Spike lower on this list due to his no show at Metamorphosis, on top of the fact that he tried to deprive us all of a Dragon's Den match. The dude's going through some things though and that needs to be taken into account. On top of that...he IS the Man of Steel Champion.

#6

Steve Awesome can finally breathe a sigh of relief. No longer is he under control of the House of Howlett, and he's finally pulled the thorn out of his ass known as Rob Diamond. He and Mike Laszlo had some words on Sacrifice, leading to a match between the two at Open Fight Night...should be interesting.

How about the North Star? He and Nighthawk showed the world why they're two great technical wrestlers in that grueling 2 out of 3 Falls Match at Metamorphosis. With the two now looking like a respect has been former...he sets his sights on Spike Kane at Open Fight Night.

#8

-

He held the Invictus Title for quite a while, but this attitude just pisses me off. Man up when you lose, would ya? That said, after leaving Cable high and dry on Sacrifice, perhaps Noah is the straw stirring the drink of chaos in the House of Howlett.

#9

He returned at Survival of the Fittest, turning the House of Howlett away with a baseball bat. He then proceeded to challenge Cable Arcane, though the match hasn't come to fruition. Since returning he has some tag team wins, and has now announced his intention to win the one tournament that has alluded him...The Roulette.

#10

The Ace teamed with Alex Jones and Mike Laszlo to get a win against Cable Arcane and Noah Field. He still has a shot at the Imperial Title looming from a victory last year over Roberto Verona. When will he take advantage of this opportunity?

#11

Devlin comes in at #11 with the winner of the Cruiserweight Invitational parlaying that victory into an Invictus Title Match this coming week on Sacrifice. Can the "Destiny Dealer" take the title from JFK?

#13

This fiery Latina has been rising up the ranks quickly here in the Diamonds Division with a huge win over Amber Richards propelling her to bigger and better things. Where will she go from here?

#14

-

-

With his opportunity at Spike Kane wasted by Spike's forfeit, it's only a matter of time before Falcon gets another shot at the Man of Steel.

#15

-

-

Though she failed in yet another shot at a championship here in the IWF, Fiona took the champ to her limits and after a quick submission victory over Kate Steele is showing the world she's here to stay.

#16

-

With an impressive victory over a former Shieldmaiden in Crystal Millar, Lizzy has her a shot at the Shieldmaiden and Eternity at OFN. With her brother as the special referee...can this young lady get her first taste of a championship?

-

#17

These wouldn't be proper rankings without one last Rob Diamond mention. Yes, Rob lost to Steve Awesome at Metamorphosis and has been sent packing from the IWF. However, the battles he and Steve had were epic and with that, the committee...of me...salutes you Rob.

Starting to see some fresh faces on the roster on both the men's and women's side of things, and Helena Sawyer has made an impact, being the first female, along with Eternity, to compete inside the Dragon's Den.

Her last match saw her tapout then Number One Contender for her sister's championship Fiona McFly. How much longer can Sara be ignored while her sister reigns atop the division?

#20

-

-

He's back...though he hasn't done terribly much. He's taken his shots at Cable Arcane and Roberto Verona, but a loss to newcomer Dorian Hawkhurst kind of dampened the mood. However, teaming with The Ace and Mike Laszlo and getting a win over Noah and Cable was a step in the right direction.

#21

-

He was the runner up in the CWI. He's also been under the radar as far as talent goes. He's racking up wins, and soon might be a player for a championship down the line.

#22

A win over Amber Richards was a nice start...then again, for a division that has "fallen apart" that seems to be happening more and more. Kate started the month out with a loss to Fiona McFly though, and hence has slowed her momentum. Is revenge in the cards?

I gotta give props to the Hall of Famer. She came in and unseated Eternity at Extreme Endurance and held that title until Paige Garcia took it from her at Diamonds Are Forever. This week she looks to avenge one of her few losses, taking on Amber Richards and Crystal Millar in a Triple Threat Match.

#24

She was the one to end Paige Garcia's lengthy Shieldmaiden reign (though she didn't pin Paige). She had a nice reign until Survival of the Fittest, and this week has a chance to take a huge step up if she can get a victory over Amber Richards and Jessica Reed.

Though he's been on a bit of a losing streak, you can't help but feel the heart and compassion of Nighthawk as he and Andrew Jacobsen went toe to toe in that 2 out of 3 Falls Match at Metamorphosis. Now looking to maybe join forces with the North Star...this duo maybe going places.

How about that for rankings? Remember, this is the opinion of one person and one person only...me. This is subjective and if I hate what you're doing...you'll read about it here. For the most part, I'm excited to see what 2017 brings to the table. We have new faces, new champions, and challengers salivating at the mouth for an opportunity.

Don't cry if you didn't make it on the Power Rankings, let it be motivation to stick it to the man...me. Make me eat my words and maybe next time I'll be able to say..."YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!"

Until next time folks...which will be sooner than a year from now...promise.

With a win in the 4 Corners Match this past week on Sacrifice, Bob is now the Number One Contender for the Invictus Championship. Bob seems to be on the rise and we can't help but ask...What will he do next?
