With a new era in the Imperial Wrestling Federation...I thought it was time for some new rankings heading into IWF's first Open Fight Night. Remember boys and girls, these rankings are purely my opinion and have NO bearing on the decision made within the company. Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy.

Renee Pleasant has been on the roll of rolls and is easily in the lead for "Superstar of the Year" in this writer's opinion. He won the Roulette and toppled Alex Jones at Night of the Immortals. Since then he's beaten Spike Kane, Mike Laszlo, and Malaki Toala. He looks unstoppable and I wonder if ANYONE can take him down.

Eternity leads the Diamonds Division into the Immortal Era. She defeated Amber Richards in the Heiress to the Throne, then knocked off Alexis Caffrey at Legacy for the Diamonds Title. Alexis has challenged Eternity to a rematch for the title at IWF's 1st Open Fight Night. Will the champion respond, or continue to play games with her "daughter".

Andrew Jacobsen shoots up the IWF Power Rankings, defeating Jake Conway for the Man of Steel Title at Legacy. He joined "Body Count" to make a statement, and so far, he's the group's most successful member. What looms ahead for the new Man of Steel, and will "The Ace" have something up his sleeve?

Atwater had some ups and downs over the past couple months since our last ranking, but it's safe to say he capped it all off well with the Invictus Title. The "American Assassin" said he would take the title when he got his shot, and did just that against Mohammed Al-Thani and El Guernica at Legacy. He has the piercing eyes of DeMarius Thomas on his back though.

The bearded face that runs the place dispatched of Alex Jones at Legacy, putting what he feels is an abrupt end to the uprising. With powers distributed between Joey Leroux, Kat Conway, and Riley Gordon so he can be an active competitor...it's safe to say, the rest of the roster better look out.

Jess proved that she hasn't lost a beat, taking on and defeating Ana Jones at Legacy. With Jess proving she can still hang with the best; how long is it before the "Cosplay Queen" sets her gaze upon the Diamonds Title?

I didn't think this would happen so quick. Three straight who weren't even on the board last time around, are in the top 7 of these rankings. Rob Diamond shocked the world with a return, costing Mike Laszlo the title. The two went back and forth, and wound up in a Cell Match at Legacy in which Rob was victorious. What's next for Mr. InFamous?

Once things shake out, the jumps won't be so big. Malaki deserves this bump though as he won the Heir to the Throne and took Renee Pleasant to the limit at Legacy. He's a Gladiator, and an Heir to the Throne, as well as a former Man of Steel and Imperial Champion in his brief career...what's next?

The first (but not last) to fall in our ranking is the former Diamonds Champion. She held the belt for 91 days, but defended it once, and when she did...she lost. She challenged Eternity to a rematch for the belt at the first ever Open Fight Night with no response from Eternity. You can bet that if the champ doesn't answer, Alexis won't be too happy.

Rounding out the top ten is Mike Laszlo, who had a nice month leading into Legacy where he and Rob Diamond put on what could be the Match of the Night, if not the year. A loss combined with a Grade 2 tear of his MCL brings Mike down in the rankings, and puts him on the shelf; but remember though, that Joker In The Pack briefcase is still in play when he returns.

If "The Ace" had lost any other way...he'd still be in the Top 10. The guy got himself DQed and lost the Man of Steel because of it. A veteran like him should no better. He let Jacobsen know his displeasure though, and who knows what else Jake Conway has up his sleeve.

Gaither had an up and down time. Yes he made it to the finals of the Heir to the Throne against Malaki Toala (Congrats by the way.) but he couldn't get by the Samoan into the main event of Legacy. In fact he wasn't on the card. They cancel each other out...he doesn't move.

You might ask why Ana moves up...well, she's Ana. She had been getting the better of Jessica Reed until the match itself in which case she went down in defeat. It seems her and Alex have a battle on their hands as they were surprised by IWF's newest signees after her match.

He may not like his spot (If he even looks at these rankings.) But the fact is...this just wasn't Alex's month. Since losing to Renee, he's started a failed mutiny with Body Count, who seemingly has been snuffed out quickly by Verona, who got his hands on Alex and took him down. Now he has a problem with Christian Mercer it seems.

Another man with a back and forth time period since our last rankings. Mohammed won the Invictus Title, but lost it at Legacy to Alexander Atwater. He's started this International Invitational...I can only imagine what that will lead to.

Paige Garcia makes the list for the first time. She's won almost every match she's had since our last rankings with victories over both a former Ruby and Diamonds Champion in Amber Richards in a tag match and a former Ruby Champion in Mercedes Vargas. She's in the match for the NEW Shieldmaiden Title...can she capitalize at Extreme Endurance?

The huge upset victory by the Garcias over Amber and Eliza is a huge shot in the gut. Yes Amber got to the finals of the Heiress to the Throne, but we all expected her to win...and...well...she didn't. Combine that with no match at Legacy, and unfortunately for the raven haired beauty...this is where she falls on the rankings.

She says she's dominant, but I haven't seen it as of late. Her and Amber took the loss to the Garcias, and though Amber took the pin, it was still a team effort. She then lost to Amber in the Semis of the Heiress to the Throne. This is a sport in which if you're not seen, you're forgotten, and inactivity also drops her in these rankings. I'm sure she'll bounce back in no time.

She's followed in her sister's footsteps. I can type how much of an upset the Garcias over Amber & Eliza is til my fingers bleed, but if you don't get it by now...too bad for you. She also has a victory over the former Ruby Champion, Crystal Hilton to her credt. Maybe it slowly is becoming a Garcia World after all?

Austin James Mercer, son of Christian Mercer, debuted this past week on the 1st new Sacrifice of the Immortal Era, and did so in style against Nighthawk with the Mercer Drop. Is he really the future of wrestling...or another who just claims to be so?

Well look who's back? The son of Spike Kane re-emerges on the scene in IWF and had a great showing against Rob Diamond and Nathan Baloff. What's next for the prodigal son?

If anyone else were doing better, Aaron Owens might not be on this ranking. He joined Body Count and has gotten beat up by Rob Diamond. His only salvation is that he and the rest of Body Count beat up a bunch of jobbers. Let's sarcastically say...Great win guys.

Emma had a good showing against the former Diamonds Champion Alexis Caffrey in a losing effort. She teams with Mercedes Vargas this week to take on the Garcia Twins. Will the showing carry over? Only time will tell.

The stat queen is falling and fast. Does anyone remember the last time she won? Here's a stat for you...how many boots have been stuck up your ass? The answer: Too many to count. She has a chance to turn it around with Emma against the Garcias this coming Sacrifice.

Very rarely will you see this happen. I have a toss up for the #25 because I can't decide who has been better or worse. Both Crystal and Nighthawk have sworn to comeback with a renewed vigor and both lost in their first match back. Hopefully one will separate themselves from the other because I'm really hoping not to have to do this again.

Well, that's that. Another set of rankings in the books. There were some big jumps and big falls in the second edition and I'm positive that will all shake itself out in the long run. That being said, how about Open Fight Night for the first time ever? Alexis challenged Eternity with no answer. Renee laid out an open challenge that was accepted by both newcomer Zasshu AND Kyle Mason. Which of them will get on my Rankings...if either. Nighthawk and Jacobson, Alex Jones and Christian Mercer do battle. The Garcias take on Emma and Mercedes to hype of the new Shieldmaiden title! NOT TO MENTION the Kanes vs Williams feud continues! It's all going down on Sacrifice. What a new era it has started out as, and what a new era I look forward too. I'll see you next time on the IWF.com POWER RANKINGS!
