{We come back to Rachel who has a smile on her face as she nods approvingly.}

 

Rachel Grimes: That's right ladies and gentlemen, perhaps the most personal feud not just in the year 2016, but possibly EVER...Steve Awesome and Rob Diamond. This feud would start off with an inexplicable attack by Steve Awesome, on Rob Diamond in the Roulette Match.

 

{The scene fades out and then back in and we see enter the middle of the Roulette Match at High Stakes 2016...}

 

{ 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! }

ENTRANT NUMBER TWENTY FIVE – ROB DIAMOND

{ Jekyll and Hyde by Five Finger Death Punch blasts out of the PA System and the crowd goes absolutely nuts as Rob Diamond emerges from behind the curtain, clearly showing signs of wear and tear from his hallacious encounter with Mike Laszlo. Rob winces in pain as he looks down the ramp at the situation he is about the enter, the crowd urging on their hero to battle. }

Vasco Dias: Ugh, I was hoping he may have missed his flight.

Terri Morasco: That’s some fine impartial commentary Vasco…. You realise he was here like fifty minutes ago?

Vasco Dias: I am comforted by the fact he has a huge target on his back.

{ Rob nods his head and begin to limp down to the ring as the crowd cheers him on when suddenly, somebody hops the barricades and attacks Rob from behind! Rob crashes down face first on the ramp with a sickening thud as the crowd begins to boo. The figure, dressed in a hoodie, continue to beat down on Rob with his boots, landing blow after blow on him with a vicious assault. Finally he stops and reaches up to his hood, pulling it off of his head to reveal…. Steve Awesome!? }

Terri Morasco: What the hell!? Steve is attacking one of his best friends!?

Vasco Dias: I’m starting to see why they call him Awesome, this is brilliant!

Terri Morasco: You’re disgusting.

{ Steve looks down at what he has done, clearly conflicted, before bowing his head and hopping back into the crowd, swiftly disappearing as security pours down the ramp in an attempt to catch him. In the ring everybody continues to trade blows, a little confused by what has just happened, but not allowing the situation to distract them. EMTs finally reach Rob as they try to look at what appears to be an open wound above his eye. As the chaos ensues our clock begins to count down once more. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1! }

 

{We return to Rachel who is now sitting behind her desk.}

 

Rachel Grimes: Who the hell saw that coming? I mean, we all thought that Steve was off doing movies and living the glamorous life. Later it would be revealed that his contract (and financial situation) were being held up as leverage by Roberto Verona to do "Verona's Dirty Work" against Rob, pitting friend against friend.

​

Rob would get his chance at redemption though as in April at the "Viewer's Choice" Pay Per View entitled "Destiny", Rob and Warren would challenge Roberto for the Imperial Championship. However, as we'll show you, and you've seen already if you've been watching our show (and why you wouldn't be is beyond me), things didn't go as planned for Rob Diamond...

{We're taken to the Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas where Rob, Warren and Roberto have been battling fiercly for the Imperial Championship at Destiny.}

 

{ Rob is laying on the apron just trying to catch his breath as Warren rolls off the apron to the outside of the ring. Rob starts to pull himself up as the crowd is suddenly caught off guard by the appearance of Jayson Matthews through the crowd with a referee!!! }

Terri Morasco: What!? No!!! Jayson Matthews is looking to steal the invictus championship right in the middle of this Imperial Championship match!

Vasco Dias: That’s what you get when you’re the invictus champion!

{ But before Jayson can do anything he is brought to a dead stop when “Full of Regret” by Danko Jones hits the pa and the crowd erupts into a mixed reaction for STEVE AWESOME!!! }

Terri Morasco: What the hell is Steve Awesome doing here!?

Vasco Dias: I think I have an idea!

{ Steve Awesome makes his way down to the ring, checking on Roberto briefly before stopping at Rob Diamond who is still on the apron, Matthews watches from off to the side and Warren is still down on the floor. }

Vasco Dias: He’s here to collect the county on Rob’s head!!!

{ Steve looks at Rob for a second who starts to roll off the apron as Steve looks back to Verona who tells him to “DO IT!!!” Steve looks at Rob again who stands on his feet and he mouths to him “Sorry…” before firing off the JAWBREAKER SUPERKICK!!!!! }

Terri Morasco: NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Vasco Dias: YES!!!!!!!

{ Rob Diamond is down and Jayson Matthews doesn’t know what to do as he watches, Steve looks to Matthews and yells at him “PIN HIM!!!!” Jayson shakes his head and Steve shrugs his shoulders before connecting with a JAWBREAKER SUPERKICK on Jayson Matthews!!!! }

Terri Morasco: What the hell is he doing!?

{ Steve grabs Jayson and throws his body over Rob Diamond… The referee climbs out of the ring as Verona screams at him and starts to count. ONE! TWO! THREE!!!! }

Alison Valance: And your new Invictus Champion! Jaysn Matthews!!!

Terri Morasco: What!? No!

{ Jayson is out cold on top of Rob as Steve just looks down on the two of them, obviously not comfortable with what just happened but Roberto Verona is very happy as he gets to his feet and claps for Steve as he walks past him and heads up the ramp. }

Terri Morasco: I don’t believe this! Steve just cost Rob the Invictus Championship and very possibly the Imperial Championship!

Vasco Dias: Thank god for Steve Awesome!

Terri Morasco: Thank god! He just ruined this match!

Vasco Dias: No, he just saved it!

{ Steve disappears into the back as Rob and Jayson are still out of it. }

{We go back to Rachel who looks disgusted.}

 

Rachel Grimes: So let's set this whole thing straight. Steve tries to cost Rob the Roulette, and then when that fails he robs him of the Invictus Championship AND cost him the Imperial Championship with one hard kick to the head. What the hell kind of friend is that?

​

The next week, we would find out that the damage done was more than just emotional, it was physical too as Rob would suffer a concussion that would force him out of action for more than a month though the master of the Diamond Cutter would find a way around all of that. He would go to Verona and demand an "Unsanctioned" Match between he and Steve at Night of the Immortals.

​

Verona would take the proposal to Steve and offer a little incentive. If Steve signed the contract...and won...he would be free of Verona's puppet strings. If he lost...things would get "worse".

​

The contract signing would get heated...let's show it to you now.

{She folds her hands together and looks on as the scene fades into the May 23rd edition of Sacrifice.}

​

ARE YOU READY?

{ The crowd gets right to their feet as “Jekle and Hyde” by FFDP hits the pa. They roar as Rob Diamond steps out from the back, he doesn’t even stop to do his usual schtick, instead he just heads right to the ring where a covered table is set up in the middle of the ring with a contract sitting on the center of it. Rob jumps up onto the apron and walks around the table to where the contract is. His music doesn’t even stop before he grabs the pen and signs his name to the dotted line. }

Terri Morasco: Rob wasting no time signing that contract.

Vasco Dias: He’s signing away his career.

Terri Morasco: It’s possible. From what I’ve heard the last concussion he got from Steve’s super kick was more than enough to end his career.

Vasco Dias: As far as I’m concerned he just signed his death certificate. 

{ The music dies down and Rob scoops up the microphone sitting off to the side of the table. }

Rob Diamond: STEVE!!! I signed my name now you get the hell out here and sign yours!!!!

{ Rob slams the mic down and leans over the table as he waits for Steve Awesome to come out. }

Terri Morasco: I’m not sure I’ve ever seen Rob this mad.

Vasco Dias: I don’t know what he has to be mad about. He picked a fight with the boss, did he really think there wouldn’t be consequences?

Terri Morasco: I’m sure he thought the same thing a lot of wrestlers think, you work hard, make a name for yourself, earn the respect of the fans and your peers and you get a fair shot at the top belt.

Vasco Dias: Yeah well that isn’t how it works here.

{ Several long moments go by before “Full of Regrets” by Danko Jones hits the pa and Steve Awesome slowly steps out from behind the curtain to a mixed reaction from the crowd. He looks around himself, surprised that he isn’t getting the same warm reception he’s used to every where else in the world. }

Vasco Dias: And there he is, the man who will officially end the career of Rob Diamond.

Terri Morasco: I’m not so sure about that. He seems very hesitant.

{ Steve stops at the top of the ramp as Rob burns with rage inside the ring. Rob rips the mic back up and yells. }

Rob Diamond: GET DOWN HERE YOU PUNK BITCH!

{ Steve shakes his head and starts to walk down the ramp toward the ring. Several ring side fans start to heckle him as he passes but he ignore them. He reaches the ring and slowly walks up the steps, hesitating at the top before finally climbing into the ring. }

Terri Morasco: You could cut the tension with a knife.

Vasco Dias: Definitely a lot of animosity from one of the men in the ring but Steve? He was just doing what he was told like a good soldier.

Terri Morasco: Verona held his contract over his head!

Vasco Dias: You do what you have to do to remain on top.

{ Steve walks up to the other side of the table, Rob twists the contract around and pushes it toward him. Steve looks it over for a moment, he reaches for the pen but then grabs the other mic that is sitting on the table. Rob rolls his eyes and steps back from the table as Steve raises the mic. }

Steve Awesome: Rob… Buddy… Pal… Brother… Please don’t make-

Rob Diamond: SIGN THE CONTRACT!!!!

{ Rob screams as Steve partially turns away before pulling the mic back up. }

Steve Awesome: NO!!!

{ Steve slams the mic down on the table as the crowd boos but Rob leers across the table at him. }

Rob Diamond: WHAT DID YOU THINK STEVE!!! Did you think you could kick me in the head!!! SteveKO me! Cost me the Roulette! Cost me the Invictus! Cost me the Imperial Championship and just walk the hell away!!!???

{ Steve shakes his head and backs away from the table. }

Rob Diamond: Did you think you could screw me over time and again and there wouldn’t be consequences!?

{ Steve pulls the mic up. }

Steve Awesome: I did what I had to do for my family!

Rob Diamond: SO DID I!!!! And when I stood in the ring with the Imperial Champion, Roberto Verona, on the cusp of accomplishing my dreams without anyone’s help!!! You sauntered your bitch ass down to the ring and cost me everything!!! Do you know how long I’ve had to live with the ghost of NCW!? How long I’ve had to wonder if I could of beaten Falcon without Zelda’s help!? How long I’ve sat back and wondered if I really belonged in the main event!?

{ Rob seethes as he continues. }

Rob Diamond: I worked my goddamn ass off to make it into an Imperial Championship match! I went through hell to get Verona in that ring! And for once in my life I did it for something more than me! I did it for the fans! I showed them that through hard work and perseverance there wasn’t anything that could stand in my way! And then you! YOU STEVE! Took that all away from me…

{ Steve avoids Rob’s gaze for a moment as he looks away. }

Steve Awesome: I said I was sorry, Rob but I had to do what’s best for-

Rob Diamond: FOR YOU!

Steve Awesome: FOR MY FAMILY! You fight for your family and I fight for mine! Sure you se your family as the crowd, the boys in the back, little Hope sitting at home like all the other little kids who watch us wrestle at home but I did what I had to do for my family.

Rob Diamond: And there are consequences to your actions. You don’t get to do what you did and just walk away.

Steve Awesome: No Rob, I know I don’t. Don’t think for a second that I don’t have to go home and see the disappointed look on Mandy’s face and that rips me up inside! But I know at the end of the day I did the right thing for her, for our family and for me… Look… I’m sorry about what happened but let’s be honest… You poked and prodded Verona into a corner. Didn’t you expect consequences when you pushed our boss into a corner?

{ Rob doesn’t answer right away as he just glares across the table at Steve Awesome. }

Rob Diamond: I didn’t expect you to be the one to jam the knife into my back.

Steve Awesome: You knew my situation. You knew what I was going through. You could of stepped up and helped me but you didn’t! You were too focused on toppling Roberto Verona and winning the Imperial Championshi! You didn’t even think about the friends who helped get you to where you were. That’s why Warren Kane isn’t still Invictus Champion. That’s why Spike Kane is off his rocker again. That’s why I did what I had to do because as much as I think about myself, you’re just as focused on yourself.

{ Rob leans across the table. }

Rob Diamond: Sign the damn contract.

Steve Awesome: No.

{ Rob walks around the table and gets right in Steve Awesome’s face. }

Rob Diamond: SIGN IT!

Steve Awesome: I’m not going to be the one that ends you…

Rob Diamond: End me? END ME!? The only thing you can end is a relationship!

{ Steve’s head twitches a little as Rob looks him right in the eyes. }

Rob Diamond: Oh did that sting? I’m sorry, just pointing out the fact that every woman you have ever loved dropped your egotistical ass like a bad habit!

{ Steve looks back at Rob now with a sneer on his face. }

Rob Diamond: You think Mandi is different? She’s going to see right through your bullshit just like Crystal did. She’s going to see you for the self centered, self concerned, pompous piece of shit that you are.

Steve Awesome: Don’t you dare talk about her!

Rob Diamond: WHY!? You going to do something about! How about I go backstage and show Mandi what a real man looks like! At least when I attack someone from behind I have the balls to step into the ring with them! Maybe that’s what Mandi is missing out on, someone with BALLS!

{ Steve is shivering with anger as he looks Rob in the eyes. After several tense moments he turns to his side, grabs the pen and signs his name to the contract. }

Steve Awesome: THERE! You got what you want! YOU GOT THE MATCH! But don’t blame me when the Face of the Franchise puts an end to the Greatest of all Time!

Rob Diamond: Another premature proclamation? I thought you were taking pills for that?

{ Steve can’t take anymore and he suddenly scoops Rob up onto his shoulders for the SteveKO! }

Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD! Don’t do it Steve! You could end his career before the match at Night of the Immortals!

Vasco Dias: I don’t think he cares!

{ Steve holds him up and turns him toward the table as the crowd boos Steve. }

Vasco Dias: END HIM!!!!!

{ But Steve has second thoughts, he shakes his head and then lets Rob down, coming to his senses. }

Terri Morasco: Thank god.

{ But Rob immediately fires off a kick right to the balls and then grabs him for a DIAMOND CUTTER!!!!! }

Terri Morasco: WHAT!!!???

Vasco Dias: He can’t do that! They aren’t supposed to have any contact!!!!

Terri Morasco: I don’t think Rob got the memo.

{ Rob pops right up to his feet and looks down on Steve as his chest heaves in and out with a sick smile on his face. }

Terri Morasco: The contract is signed… There will be an unsanctioned match between Steve Awesome and Rob Diamond… I’m just sad that these two long time friends are going to try and kill each other at Night of the Immortals.

Vasco Dias: Not me. I can’t wait to see Steve Awesome send Rob Diamond home permanently on a medical stretcher.

{ Rob raises both his arms over his head before firing off the biggest crotch chop we have ever seen as the crowd yells “SUCK IT! }

{We cut back to Rachel who claps her hands together.}

 

Rachel Grimes: And just like that, we had ourselves an Unsanctioned Match for Night of the Immortals. The two would do battle in an epic encounter until something strange happened...

 

{She sits patiently as the next clip is shown from the Show of Shows...Night Of The Immortals...}

{ Steve starts to get the upper hand now and drives Rob back toward the ropes, he screams at the top of his lungs “I’M SORRY!” and fires off another JAWBREAKER SUPERKICK!!! Rob goes flying over the ropes and lands hard on the apron. Steve climbs out onto the apron and pulls Rob up to his feet, he looks down at the table that Rob set up over the floor, Steve shakes his head but he knows he has to end this. He picks Rob up for the SteveKO… }

Terri Morasco: He can’t do this!

Vasco Dias: He sure as hell can!

Terri Morasco: He’s going to end his career!

Vasco Dias: That’s what Rob wanted!

{ Spike just watches, he doesn’t know what to do when suddenly all the lights in the arena go out… }

Terri Morasco: What the hell just happened!?

Vasco Dias: I can’t see anything!!!

Terri Morasco: What’s going on!?

{ When the lights come back on Steve Awesome is bloody laying on the side of the apron, Rob Diamond is on his feet with a sick grin on his face. }

Terri Morasco: What happened to Steve Awesome!

Vasco Dias: He’s busted open and bleeding bad.

Terri Morasco: Did Rob do that or did-

Vasco Dias: SPIKE!? It must have been Spike.

Terri Morasco: Spike looks as confused as we are!

{ Spike looks to Rob and Steve, he has no idea what happened. Rob moves forward and grabs Steve Awesome, he pulls him up to his feet, Spike goes over to him and asks him not to but Rob looks Spike right in the eyes and says “YOU WOULDN’T STOP!” He doubles Steve over, he under hooks him and pulls him out and hits a SIT DOWN PILE DRIVER THROUGH THE TABLE ONTO THE EXPOSED CONCRETE!!!! }

Terri Morasco: NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Vasco Dias: Jesus.. I just.. Jesus…

{ Steve Awesome isn’t moving and Rob Diamond moves to cover him, Spike just watches but Rob looks up and screams “COUNT!” }

Terri Morasco: I don’t believe this… He actually did it… He actually tried to end Steve’s career…

Vasco Dias: Yeah I didn’t think he’d pull the trigger either but… Who helped Rob?

Terri Morasco: I don’t know, I would have said Spike but he seems surprised too…

{ Spike drops down and counts ONE! TWO!... THREE!!! }

Terri Morasco: It looks like Rob wins but at what cost…

Vasco Dias: I don’t know… I expected a war and I wanted to see Rob hurt… But this? This was over the top.

{ Rob is slow to his feet, the crowd doesn’t know how to react as Rob looks down on Steve Awesome with a sick grin on his face… }

{We go back to Rachel who looks almost at a loss for words.}

​

Rachel Grimes: The actions of Rob Diamond can only be described as sickening. He would further elaborate in an interview.

{She motions to the video screen and we're taken to said interview...}

​

{ Terri Morasco is seen calmly sitting in the backstage interview area hours before Sacrifice is due to go on the air. She uses her hand to brush her hair back as she gets the off camera cue that they are on. }

Terri Morasco: Good evening. I’m Terri Morasco and tonight I will be conducting an in-depth interview with the man who may have ended th career of Steve Awesome just last week at IWF Presents: Night of the Immortals.

{ The scene shifts to last Sunday, Steve Awesome has Rob Diamond: Diamond set up for the Steve-KO on the apron, off to the side is a table set up over the exposed concrete. }

Terri Morasco: That was the scene moments before things went horribly wrong. 

{ Just as we say Sunday the lights go out for several very long moments, when they come back on Rob Diamond: is on his feet and Steve Awesome is laying unconscious on the apron with blood gushing from his head. }

Terri Morasco: It is still unclear what happened, was there a technically difficulty or was all of this planned? However things would go from bad to worse.

{ Rob Diamond grabs Steve and pulls him up into a double underhook pile driver. Spike Kane screams at him from inside the ring “STOP!” but Rob Diamond looks back at him and screams in reply “YOU WOULDN’T STOP!” and then drives Steve Awesome through the table onto the concrete with the pile driver. }

Terri Morasco: Rob Diamond would go on to claim a pin fall victory over Steve Awesome, Awesome himself was immediately rushed to the hospital and at this time we are still awaiting updates as to his future inside of a professional wrestling ring. I’m here with the man who won that unsanctioned match, Rob Diamond.

{ We cut from the footage of Rob Diamond standing over Steve to Rob Diamond now sitting in a separate chair along side Terri Morasco. She adjusts herself so she is facing him. }

Terri Morasco: Rob Diamond, I think the big question on everyone’s mind right now is why? Why would you do that to your friend?

{ Rob shakes his head and laughs a condescending laugh before dead panning Terri. }

Rob Diamond: Why? Are you f***ing kidding me? That man cost me three different title matches and gave me a career ending concussion! Driving his f***ing face through a table and ending his career is the least I could have done!

{ Terri nods her head looking away from him, his tone startling her a little. }

Terri Morasco: Understandable but still when faced with the same decision a little over a year ago with Spike Kane you chose to put him down-

Rob Diamond: And look what that cost me! Months of my career! The Imperial Championship! I should of done to Spike then what I did Steve at Immortals and pile drove his self righteous suffering ass straight to hell.

Terri Morasco: Be that is it may it all seemed very out of character.

Rob Diamond: What the hell do you know about me, huh? You know about the bullsh** puff pieces IWF has been running on me since I signed. The loveable loser, the GOAT, the best to never be Imperial Champion! Oh look at Rob as he valiantly fights for the sanctity of IWF BY HIM SELF! But you never talk about who I was before I came here, the things I had to do to reach the top. This company likes to pretend it’s the only wrestling organization that’s ever existed. Well let me take you back in time for a minute. Monkeys! Roll the footage!

{ The scene shifts to footage from Sunday Night Collision, nearly eight years ago, the NCW logo proudly displayed in the lower right hand corner. Rob Diamond: Diamond is doing battle with a much taller man with flowing black hair and rippling muscles. }

Eric Hardy: I don’t believe this! Diamond has his brother on the ropes!

Willy Carter: I never thought I’d see this little bastard over power Maniac!

{ Rob throws his brother, Chris “Maniac” Diamond out onto the apron, he looks down at the exposed concrete. }

Eric Hardy: Rob Diamond has bad intentions here!

Willy Carter: My boy Spike Kane taught him well!

{ Rob climbs out a smiles a sinister smile as he pulls Chris up between his legs. He looks around as the crowd boos him before underhooking his arms, lifting him up and then leaping off the apron and pile driving his brother straight onto the exposed concrete. The footage cuts back to Rob Diamond: and Terri. }

Rob Diamond: IWF likes to paint this picture of me, sell me as some sort of Superman to all the kids in the crowd but I’ve never been that. Steve Awesome, like my brother before him learned that Sunday Night.

{ Terri clears her throat before shuffling some papers on her lap. }

Terri Morasco: I see… Well then let’s move on to the next big question coming out of Sunday Night… Were the lights going out-

Rob Diamond: Were the lights going out what!? Planned!? How could I plan that? I don’t rent the arenas, I don’t pay the lighting guys, why don’t you go ask the man who signs the checks what the deal with the lights was!? 

Terri Morasco: It just seems odd that they-

Rob Diamond: Look Terri you can try and make this look like a set up all you like. The lights went out, sh** happens all the time. Maybe there was a power surge, maybe Verona forget to pay a bill, or maybe I’ve got more stroke than you know. Fact of the matter is this, I WON! I beat Steve Awesome. Period.

Terri Morasco: And you may well have ended his career.

Rob Diamond: GOOD! He sure as hell ended mine.

Terri Morasco: Did he?

Rob Diamond: Excuse me?

Terri Morasco: Did he end your career? I’m no medical expert but you seemed fine in that match. As a matter of fact you seemed better than you’ve ever been. I would think a man suffering from a career ending concussion would have some difficulties beating one of the best there has ever been.

Rob Diamond: Well that’s thing, you’re not a medical expert. As for my career, am I on the card tonight?

Terri Morasco: No.

Rob Diamond:: EXACTLY! If I could wrestle I would! Night of the Immortals was my last match, Steve Awesome was my last opponent. I went out on my terms.

{ Terri nods her head again before speaking. }

Terri Morasco: It just isn’t adding up for me Rob Diamond:. 

Rob Diamond:: Well math probably isn’t your strong point Terri. You know what? You asked me to come here, I came here and now you wanna harass me like I’m the goddamn bad guy!? I didn’t pay a man to hunt me down like a dog! I didn’t take the f***ing money to end my friends career! I didn’t do a goddamn thing but defend myself! And honestly I don’t owe you anymore of an explanation than that! You wanna sit here and pretend Steve Awesome is some white knight and somehow I’m the bad guy!? Then do that. But I’m f***ing done.

{ Rob rips the mic from his shirt and the booster pack from his waist tossing it off camera before standing up hard enough to knock his chair over. Terri flinches as Rob storms off the set before we fade to black… }

{We come back to Rachel who is now standing in front of her desk, next to a monitor with Warren Kane's picture on it.}

​

Rachel Grimes: This is where Warren Kane gets involved in this feud. Being friends of both Rob and Steve, Warren couldn't believe the attitude in which Rob was displaying over the last couple of weeks. This didn't matter much to Rob who would turn his attention to Warren in the wake of Steve's absence, going as far as ignoring his "InFamous 2.0" partner when approached about a "secret" meeting with Roberto Verona.

We would find out exxactly why Rob was mad at Warren...

{The screen transitions to Sacrifice, June 27, 2016...}

{We return from commercial break with Warren Kane walking slightly dejected backstage when someone catches his eye.}

Warren Kane: Rob!?

{ He looks down the hall way to Rob Diamond stepping out of a private locker room, he rushes down the hall way toward Rob and grabs him by the shoulder but Rob pulls himself away. }

Warren Kane: Dude! What the hell is your problem!?

{ Rob stops dead in his tracks and slowly turns to face Warren Kane. }

Rob Diamond: Excuse me?

Warren Kane: I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for weeks, man, what the hell is your problem?

{ Rob smirks as he tilts his head slightly to crack his neck. }

Rob Diamond: What the hell is my problem? What the hell is your problem!? 

Warren Kane: What?

Rob Diamond: We’re supposed to be brothers! We’re supposed to be family!

Warren Kane: We are!

Rob Diamond: Really!? Where the hell were you when the tag team tournament was announced!? You know what the Imperial Championship means to me! You know how hard I fought to get a fair shot! They announce a tag team title tournament where two people get a shot at the Imperial title and where is Warren Kane!? 

{ Rob looks at him with an arrogant look on his face. }

Rob Diamond: Siding up with window dressing from a Steve Awesome promo nobody remembers from NCW.

Warren Kane: Dude, Jayson is my friend too-

Rob Diamond: OH YEAH! Who the hell was there when Daddy decided to teach you some respect!? Who the hell was there when you decided to step out of the closet!? Who the hell was there when you had nowhere else to go!? I’m more than a friend, a brother, family, I’m the closest thing to a father you’ve ever had an when you had the chance to return the favor you picked Jayson f**king Matthews as your tag team partner.

{ Warren looks hurt as he tries to respond. }

Warren Kane: I didn’t know it meant that much to you.

Rob Diamond: You never asked.

Warren Kane: Look, I’m sorry-

Rob Diamond: You will be.

{ Rob turns away from Warren as he goes to respond and storms away. Warren looks around baffled, not aware that the tag team tournament meant that much to Rob until just now and unsure how to make it up to him… }
 

{We head back to Rachel in studio.}

Rachel Grimes: A criptic message that would be received loud and clear with Rob costing Warren his "Game of Thrones" Match against Jayson Matthews at Bloody Assizes. Jayson would go on to cash his contract in to face off against the winner of the Heir To The Throne Tournament for what would be the vacant Imperial Championship.

​

Rob would further dig into Warren's psyche, announcing to the world that his fight against Verona in the beginning of the year, was nothing more than a rouge concocted by himself and the former Imperial Champion.

​

After some comments from Alex Jones in the hit series "Tyler Tell All", Rob wanted him some of Jones in a match. Warren Kane wanted some of Rob and would interject into what was booked as a Triple Threat Match. Alex though would unceremoniously ask for his release, turning the bout into a one on one between former friends.

{The screen fades to the July edition of Open Fight Night where the two men would do battle...}

​

Vasco Dias: Well ladies and gentlemen, the following match has been quite a turnaround, initially a challenge was made by Rob Diamond to Alex Jones after comments made by Alex on the latest edition of the Tyler Tell All podcast.

Terri Morasco: But Warren mentioned that he wanted a piece of Rob Diamond, and Alex offered to make it a triple threat, which Warren accepted.

Vasco Dias: However, as was reported on IWF.com Alex Jones has requested his released from IWF.com, so instead Rob Diamond and Warren Kane will go one on one!

{The lights go out as the crowd chanting fills the arena.}

{As the song kicks in the tron explodes to life with a quick pyro as red and white strobe lights begin to flash. Warren Kane comes to the front of the stage and brings his arms up infront of his chest before extending them outwards and upwards creating a reaction from the crowd.}

"It's not easy making a name for yourself, Where do you draw the line?
I never thought I'd be in this far.
Let's have some fun and never change that for anyone, try not to miss me when I'm gone

I sold my soul to the open road!"

{The music dies out suddenly as Rob Diamond has come out from behind the curtain and clobbers Warren from behind. Kane falls forward and rolls onto the ramp, but Rob doesn’t give him even a second to catch his breath. He climbs over him and begins raining shots down, over and over.}

Vasco Dias: Oh come on Rob! You’re better than this!

Terri Morasco: This is disgraceful! The fans were looking forward to a great match here, one that had the caliber of a match of the night type….but not this, this is cowardly!

{Somehow Warren manages to get the upper hand and rolls Rob over, climbing on top of Rob and firing shots of his own now. The crowd are roaring with a bloodlust as the two former friends unload on each other. The brawl breaks apart, and Warren rolls away to a knee on the ramp. As Rob gets back to his feet he dives at him with a diving lariat, and Rob just takes it in his stride as they both begin firing wild shots at each other, almost trading blow for blow.}

Vasco Dias: Somebody needs to stop this, these two will fight until one, or even both of them can’t stand anymore.

{Rob gets the advantage over Warren and he grabs him by the head and whips him hard head first right into the tron screen by the entranceway. Warren crashes into it hard and hits the floor. Rob smirks as he turns to the fans and walks to the edge of the rampway. He jumps down to rummage through some gear for some kind of weapon. He finds a large wrench used for putting the security barriers up and turns to go back to Warren, but Kane had gotten back to his feet and he runs to the edge of the stage leaping off with a modified version of his Hang Time somersault dropkick! He kicks Rob backwards and into the security barrier, but takes a nasty fall himself in the process.}

Terri Morasco: This is insane!!!

Vasco Dias: Where are security? They’re going to kill themselves! This is NOT a sanctioned match! Did you hear the bell ring? Because I haven’t heard any bell ring!

{Security start to file out from the back and begin to help both men up to their feet. Rob begins to push them off of him as he uses the security barrier to get to his feet. As the other group help Warren he manages to create a gap in the group and literally dives on top of the others trying his hardest to send punches .}

Terri Morasco: This isn’t going to end happy!

{Now a few wrestlers from the developmental come out to try and seperate them, and Spike Kane comes with them! Spike gets right in between them and pushes them apart. The security and wrestlers drag Rob Diamond towards the entrance, with him fighting all the way. Spike gets right in Warrens face screaming at him to calm down and let it go. As Spike and Warren get to the top of the ramp, Rob breaks free from the crowd, and just as Spike turns to see what is happening, Rob side steps him and SPEARS WARREN KANE OFF OF THE STAGE!!!}

Vasco Dias: HOLY SHIT!

{Spike stands on the stage in shock as Warren and Rob lay in a mess on the floor. EMT’s come rushing out from the back, along with the security and developmental wrestlers. They manage to get to both of them and it seems like the move took enough out of them both to stop the fight. Spike stares down at the carnage as they start to try and get them backstage and we fade to commercial.}

{We return to Rachel pointing at Spike on the screen.}

​

Rachel Grimes: You know things are crazy when you have SPIKE KANE staring down with his mouth wide open in shock. Since this match didn't actually have a conclusion, Warren would challenge Rob to a legit match...here's how that went...

​

{We head to Bridgeport, Connecticut, home of the final Sacrifice of July...}

​

{The lights go out as the crowd chant for “Downfall of us All” by A Day to Remember hits the sound system. The crowd explode as Warren Kane comes through the curtain. He's dressed in casual clothes, jeans, and a new “Kane Legacy” T-shirt. He doesn’t stop to slap any of the fans hands, or any of that. Instead he goes right to the ring, with a very serious look on his face, and his Joker in the Pack briefcase at his side.}

Vasco Dias: Well, it doesn’t look like Warren Kane is out here to waste any time at all!

Terri Morasco: This thing going on between him and Rob Diamond seems to have really effected him.

Warren Kane: ROB!!!!

{Warren is facing the entrance way, and all but screams the name down the microphone, stunning the crowd into silence, he throws his briefcase on the floor in the middle of the ring as he does.}

Warren Kane: I’m tired of this shit Rob. Get your punk ass down here right now, and face me like a man!

{Nothing happens, as fans turn towards the entrance expecting Rob Diamond to make an appearance. Warren begins to pace in the ring, seemingly getting more and more angry as time goes on.}

Warren Kane: Where’s the “InFamous” Rob Diamond, huh? The GOAT!? Where’s the man who never backs down from a challenge!? Oh...right, you only like to attack me when my back is turned, right? Get the hell out here, and face me like a man! You god damn child! Attacking me because I chose to team up with someone else!? Jumping me, like some kind of little bitch...for what? …..because of this!?

{He kicks the briefcase as he says “this” and the crowd don’t know how to react.}

Warren Kane: In case you didn’t notice Robert, you were too busy trying to murder one of your best friends to sign up for some tag team tournament with me...right? ...but hey, I guess that’s what Rob “InFamous” Daimond does, right? Attacks those people he considers family one week, the enemy the next? HUH!? Get out here!

{Warren is cut off as "Jekle and Hyde" hits the pa. Warren doesn't look pleased to see his old friend as he struts out from behind the curtain with a smirk on his face and a mic in his hands. }

Terri Morasco: I don't see this ending well.

{ His music stops as he looks down the ramp at Warren, his one time best friend. }

Rob Diamond: Too busy trying to murder one of my best friends? I'm guessing all those blows to your head are starting to take a toll, Widdle Kane, but Steve Awesome started the war with me! I FINISHED IT! And let me ask, where were you while Steve Awesome was kicking my goddamn teeth down my throat at the Roulette!? Where we you when he did it again a month later!? 

{ Warren goes to answer but Rob cuts him off. }

Rob Diamond: YOU WERE TOO BUSY THINKING ABOUT YOURSELF! You and that little bitch, Fluffer Matthews! You didn't give a shit as Steve Awesome tried on three occasions to end my career! You didn't care as I sat on the side lines with a concussion! You didn't give a second thought about me, Widdle Kane, so yeah, once I got done playing you and the rest of the mindless fucking idiots I came out to the ring and beat the shit out of you! 

{ Rob's chest heaves as he glares at Warren. }

Rob Diamond: You wanna call me a coward, Widdle Kane? No, you got it wrong, I'm not a fucking coward. I'm INFAMOUS! And I'm done pretending to be the father figure you always longed for or the hero these brain dead morons in the crowd demand! I'm going to be selfish now! I'm going to do what I want, when I want and that includes fighting you.

Warren Kane: So you're not going to get into this ring and face me.

Rob Diamond: Not today I'm not.

Warren Kane: So you're a coward?

Rob Diamond: No! I'm smart, I'm protecting my brand! I've got a guaranteed contract-

Warren Kane: So you're a coward!? 

{ Rob tilts his head, clearly getting frustrated and then starts to walk down the ramp toward the ring. Warren drops his mic and prepares himself for a fight. Rob hops up onto the apron and looks to climb in as Warren is begging him to get in there and fight him but Rob stops on the apron and raises his mic again. }

Rob Diamond: A guaranteed contract that says I fight when I want to fight. And I don't want to fight today.

{ He drops off the apron and turns his back on Warren as he starts to head back up the ramp. Warren angrily rips his mic up off the mat. }

Warren Kane: COWARD!!! What happened to not backing down from a fight!? What happened to standing up for yourself!? What happened to the real Rob Diamond!?

{ Rob stops and looks back at Warren with a huge grin. }

Rob Diamond: You're looking at him.

{ He turns away from Warren again when suddenly Parkway Drives "Crushed" blasts from the PA system and the crowd go ape-shit. Spike Kane walks out from the back and stands on the stage, with Rob Diamond on the ramp giving him a "wtf do you want" look, and Warren in the ring.}

Spike Kane: ....never in my life did I think I'd see Rob Diamond back down from a fight...but I get it, I get it! You're protecting your brand, your wealth, your stock in this company, right? Well fuck that!

Vasco Dias: Did he just!?

Terri Morasco: Live TV!!!

Spike Kane: We've rolled together for years Rob. We've crushed teams all over the world, and hey, we've failed too...but whenever we've had issues? We've dealt with them like men. We dealt with them, in the ring. We are InFamous - and that's how we roll. Just like you did with me two years ago, and just like you did with Steve barely weeks ago. Do you think it's fun for me watching you two go at it? Hell no...

{The crowd are on fire, because A) Spike fucking Kane, and B) He swore on live tv.}

Spike Kane: But it is, what it is. You need to squash this, the way we've always done in the past. Next week is Lineage, right? So what do you say? the "InFamous" Rob Diamond versus Warren Kane? Leave it all in the ring, and move on? HUH?

Terri Morasco: This is huge! Spike is trying to make a match between his son and best friend for Lineage!

Vasco Morasco: I don't know if that's best for Rob's business.

Terri Morasco: I don't think Spike, Warren or anyone else gives a damn. 

{ Rob just shakes his head as he looks up the ramp at Spike. }

Rob Diamond: One condition.

{ Warren replies before Spike can. }

Warren Kane: NAME IT!

{ Rob looks back Warren with a sick grin on his face. }

Rob Diamond: STEEL CAGE MATCH!

Warren Kane: YOU GOT IT!

{ The crowd pops huge at this announcement as Spike nods approvingly. }

Terri Morasco: This is a huge announcement! Warren Kane and Rob Diamond will be going at it next week in a steel cage match!

Vasco Dias: I hope Warren knows what he's getting himself into.

Terri Morasco: I think he does.

{ Warren's music hits as he and Rob lock eyes, Rob drops his mic and turns around to head up the ramp, shoulder bumping Spike as he passes, the two men sharing a very tension filled stare before Rob heads off into the back. }

{Rachel has her arms out wide and her mouth open to the floor...}

​

Rachel Grimes: Tell me you guys didn't get all excited one more time. I mean come on...Rob Diamond...Warren Kane in a freaking Steel Cage after all the crap Rob has put Warren through!?

​

The two would make it to the cage, and they would do battle, but then...something happened that none of us thought we'd see...

​

{Rachel crosses her arms as we fade into the Cage Match at the Lineage Event...}

​

{Rob is barely standing, and so too is Warren. They lean into each other, as they fire shots filled with anger and passion. The crowd are still as into the match as they were at the beginning but suddenly the crowd begin to boo. Rob takes Warren down with a snap DDT, but he doesn’t go for the cover as he turns around to see Laura Howlett holding a pair of bolt cutters, and flanked by Zasshu and Cable Arcane!}

 

Vasco Dias: What the hell are they doing out here!?

 

{Laura hands Cable the bolt cutters and he cuts open the lock on the cage door, meanwhile the referee AND Rob Diamond are both trying to stop them from getting into the cage….behind them, the crowd begin to erupt as SPIKE FREAKING KANE has jumped over the security barrier and is climbing the cage!}

 

Terri Morasco: OK, I’m losing my mind, what the hell is going on!?

 

{Rob and Laura are involved in a shouting match unaware of the pop building behind them. Spike Kane has cleared to the top and dropped down into the middle of the ring. He helps Warren Kane to his feet, and he holds him up, holds his face with one hand. He stares right into the face of his son and SPITS IN HIS FACE! Spike hits Warren with the SPIKE IMPAILER!}

 

Vasco Dias: WHAT!?!?!

 

Terri Morasco: HE JUST SPAT IN HIS SONS FACE AND THEN HIT HIM WITH THE SPIKE IMPAILER!?

 

{Spike looks down at Warren with a sneer on his face, the crowd are going absolutely nuts, boos, shouts, cups being thrown. Spike climb up onto the turnbuckle and back onto the top of the cage, as the argument between Rob and Laura finishes. Rob turns around with a twisted grin on his face as he walks over to Warren Kane and drags him to his feet. Out of his peripheral vision Rob spots Spike Kane who has reached the bottom of the cage on the outside and he winks at him, before turning to Warren, holding him up just like his father did, and nailing a brutal DIAMOND DRIVER!}

 

Vasco Dias: I’ve expected Rob Diamond to stoop so low, but I never expected this.

 

Terri Morasco: Vasco, I’m so confused. Was this all planned? Are Rob and Spike in cahoots? Is Laura and her men a part of this?

 

{Rob Diamond makes an elaborate display of mocking Warren with the way he covers him, almost as if offering some sort of sacrifice, but the referee drops and counts the pinfall…..ONE! …...TWO! …...THREE!!!! The bell rings, and immediately Laura Howlett opens the cage door, and climbs in, followed by….Cable Arcane, Zasshu….and Spike Kane.}

 

Terri Morasco: My heart breaks for Warren Kane. He felt like he was doing the right thing here, but this has to be crushing. What in the blue hell is Spike Kane thinking!?

 

{Inside the ring, the referee holds up Robs hand, and quickly gets out of dodge before any trouble happens. Blood is still trickling down the face of Warren Kane who lies motionless on the floor. Rob and Spike make eye contact before they both burst into laughter, smile, and hug each other in the middle of the ring, before flashing a quick crotch chop to the crowd. Laura Howlett moves into the middle of the ring, with Rob on one side, and Spike on the other. She grabs Robs hand, and Spike’ss hand and lifts them both into the air, ether side of them both Cable and Zasshu do the same too, with all five of them having their arms in the air, standing over the broken, and bloody, Warren Kane.}

 

Vasco Dias: I think dark days have just begun for IWF Terri…

 

Terri Morasco: Laura Howlett has warned us for weeks, if not months, but now it seems like she’s really taking over IWF…

 

Vasco Dias: I never thought I’d say this, but I feel so sorry for Warren Kane.

 

Terri Morasco: And what the hell is Spike doing in the ring? Were he and Rob in this together all along?

 

{ The five of them still stand with arms raised as “Jekyll and Hyde” plays through out the arena, the crowd booing and throwing garbage into the ring. }

{Rachel has her arms crossed with a look of despair on her face.}

​

Rachel Grimes: We wouldn't see much of Warren Kane for the rest of the year, and unfortunately, for the rest of the IWF, the House of Howlett would form that next week officially on Sacrifice. However...that wasn't the end of this whole situation between Rob and Steve...

​

Rob would be taking on Jayson Matthews during the August 15th edition of Open Fight Night. It looked like Rob was ready to take out another adversary, looking to injure Jayson as he had done to Steve Awesome at Night of the Immortals. That however...wouldn't be the case... 

​

{We're taken to the end of the Rob Diamond vs Jayson Matthews match from the August 15th edition of Monday Night Sacrifice: Open Fight Night...}

​

{ Rob rips up the floor padding to expose the concrete beneath it and then sets the table up like a bridge from the crowd barrier to the ring apron and smiles as he rolls back into the ring. }

Terri Morasco: He can’t do this!

Vasco Dias: Yes, yes he can.

{ Rob grabs Jayson and starts to drag him toward the table when the crowd pops and Mandi Matthews comes running down the ramp! }

Vasco Dias: What the hell is she doing here!?

Terri Morasco: She’s looking out for her brother!

Vasco Dias: She’s as dumb as he is!!!

{ Mandi rolls right into the ring and gets in Rob’s face and then slaps him as hard as she can. }

Vasco Dias: That was a mistake!

{ Rob viciously grabs her by the hair and wrenches back as the rest of the House of Howlett start to make their way onto the ramp, Laura leading the charge with Spike and Zasshu to either side and Cable bringing up the rear. }

Vasco Dias: YOU DON’T TOUCH THE GOAT!!!

Terri Morasco: She wanted to protect her brother!!!

Vasco Dias: And you don’t touch the GOAT!

{ Jayson starts to come back around as Rob drags Mandi toward the table bridge now but the crowd pops again as Nighthawk comes running up behind the House of Howlett and connects with a running bulldog on Cable Arcane! Rob lets go momentarily as he looks up the ramp, Spike and Zasshu turn and that’s when- }

REGRETS! I’VE GOT MINE!

{ The familiar music of Steve Awesome catches everyone off guard as the crowd pops. }

Vasco Dias: WHAT!?

Terri Morasco: NO WAY!?

{ Rob looks around as Spike and Zasshu prepare for a fight, Nighthawk is on top of Cable with rights and lefts when STEVE AWESOME COMES THROUGH THE CROWD AND CONNECTS WITH A JAWBREAKER TO THE BACK OF ROB’S HEAD!!!! }

Vasco Dias: NO!!!!

{ Spike and Cable make their way for the ring but Jayson Matthews springs back to life and rushes toward the ropes and flies through them with a suicide dive right into Spike and Zasshu as Steve picks Rob up and then sends him over the top rope and through the table onto the concrete floor with the STEVEKO!!!! }

Vasco Dias: HE CAN’T DO THAT!!!!

Terri Morasco: HE JUST DID!!!!

Vasco Dias: That’s bull****!!!

{ Security comes pouring out from the back to pull everyone apart as Steve goes right to the side of Mandi to make sure she is ok as Rob lays in the rubble on the floor and Jayson is pulled away from Spike and Zasshu, Cable and Nighthawk are pulled apart as well as we head to commercial break. }

{We go back to Rachel who has a HUGE smile on her face.}

​

Rachel Grimes: That's right folks, the return of Steve Awesome sent shockwaves through the IWF, and more importantly, a jolt to the head of Rob Diamond. Steve knew that things didn't look good from a numbers stand point, and that's when he would challenge Rob to an "Empty Arena Match" that would take place between the Heir to the Throne Network Special, and the Legacy Pay Per View, of which Rob would eventually accept.

{We head to the end of the Empty Arena Match which would air for the public during the Legacy Pay Per View...}

​

{Just then the door flings open and Rob and Chuck notice Steve standing in the door with the boat from the other room over his head. Steve lets it fly with all the might he could muster and Rob dives out of the way just in time but Bad Luck Chuck isn't as lucky and he takes it to the face. Steve looks a little shocked at what happened and Rob shoves Steve backward out of the door way and back into the hall. Steve stumbles and Rob slams Steve against the third door and it opens and Steve falls forward and down a half a flight of stairs.}

Terri Morasco: Steve stumbled down a couple stairs there. Looked like it hurt.

Vasco Dias:: And now Rob is there looking like a shark that smelled blood.

Terri Morasco: He senses Steve is hurt. He grabs Steve sets him up for the double underhook. NO!

Vasco Dias:: Diamond Driver on the cement stairs!?!?!?

{But no, Steve manages to lift Rob up for a back body drop on the stairs. Rob yells out in pain as Steve stumbles down the rest of the stairs and out the bottom door out to the parking lot. Steve walks out and rests against a couple stacks of crates just laying around. But Rob comes from out of nowhere with another SPEAR right into the stack of crates!}

Terri Morasco: Oh my god!!! Spear right through all those shipping crates!

Vasco Dias:: But how much did that take from Rob?

Terri Morasco: Wait, the ref is going down for a count. Who has the cover?

Vasco Dias:: I think it's Rob!

{But somebody kicks out and Rob pops up with a shocked look on his face. Rob argues with the referee and then he reaches down and grabs Steve who looks out on his feet. Rob drags steve over and slams him face first into a cement beam and he bounces back and manages to hoise Rob up on his shoulders and he looks for a SteveKO but Rob slides off his shoulders and goes for a Diamond Cutter but Steve shoves him off and tries to go for a jawbreaker super kick but Rob ducks and tries to set up for the Diamond Driver but steve back body drops Rob but rob lands on his feet and this time Steve connects with a Jawbreaker Superkick and Rob flys back and lands back first into the back of an open moving truck. Steve climbs up and grabs the sliding door, grabs it and slams it down into the ribs of rob diamond! Rob yells out in pain as Steve holds it down on top of rob as hard as he could and he tells the ref to count.}

{Rob is trapped he has no way to kick out even if he could but he was out cold.}

Terri Morasco: Steve Awesome has done it! He just beat Rob Diamond in a brutal match up!

Vasco Dias:: NO! How could this have happened? Somebody get in there and check if Rob is okay! 

{Steve stumbles back admiring his work as the referee checks on the not moving Rob Diamond!!!}

 

{Back to Rachel who is shaking her head while looking up at the monitor before finally turning back to the camera.}

​

Rachel Grimes: Just when you thought these 2 guys couldn't do anything more to one another...a match inside an empty arena shows itself to be one of the more brutal encounters to date between them...

​

Steve would come out to celebrate when a cruel twist of fate was dealt his way that just made you really hurt fo the poor guy. It would be revealed that it was in fact Rob Diamond who owned Steve's contract to the IWF...not Roberto Verona.

​

This would render Steve useless in the fight against the House due to his contract restraints.

​

Also, basically being treated as the House's whipping boy, Steve would be put in the most unenviable of situations, but yet, would somehow defy the odds, managing to overcome the obstacle by hook or crook every single time.

​

The house thought they'd end this with a match between Steve and Jake "The Ace" Conway who had been coming down to assist Steve on more than one occasion. This however would turn into a massive brawl, hence the match never actually taking place.

​

The bad circumstances would look worse at October Revolution...until Jayson Matthews showed up...

{The screen heads from the studios in Chicago, to the confines of the Consol Energy Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...home of October Revolution!}

{ Rob and Spike pull Steve up to his feet and hit him with a double crotch chop before a double kick to the gut, they both grab him by the neck and turn to see JAYSON MATTHEWS RUNNING DOWN THE RAMP!!!! }

Vasco Dias: What the hell is that sob doing out here!?

Terri Morasco: He’s coming to protect his friend!!!

Vasco Dias: WHY!!??

Terri Morasco: Because he’s had enough of this slaughter!!!

{ Spike takes off for Jayson and slides out of the ring and crashes into him with a clothes line sending Jayson onto his back on the ramp. Inside the ring Steve springs up and grabs Rob with a roll up!!! The referee turns and sees it as Steve has Rob, the referee drops down and Steve takes a fist full of tights! ONE! The referee doesn’t see it! TWO! Spike charges back into the ring! THREE!!!! }

Terri Morasco: YES!!!

{ Steve lets him go and quickly rolls out of the ring before Spike hits him and jumps the barrier into the crowd! }

Vasco Dias: WHAT THE HELL!?

{ Steve looks stunned and happy as the fans are celebrating with him!!! Spike and Rob are furious in the center of the ring as Jayson Matthews is up and laughing on the ramp. }

Vasco Dias: What the hell just happened!?

Terri Morasco: Steve Awesome won!!!

Vasco Dias: HE CHEATED!!!

Terri Morasco: You said a win is a win and Steve just got a big win!!!

Vasco Dias: This is a travesty!!!

{ Spike and Rob are fuming in the ring as Steve is celebrating with his fans in the crowd. }

{Back to Rachel who cheers on the victory.}

Rachel Grimes: So yet again, Steve Awesome finds a way out of certain career homicide, being rescued by Jayson Matthews' distraction!

As punishment though, the next week on Sacrifice, the House would berate Steve in the center of the ring, and prepare him for what may well have been the beating of his life, only to be interrupted by a gang of wrestlers who opposed them...

{We're taken to the November 7th Sacrifice...}

{ “Can’t Stop” by Sixx A.M. hits the pa for the second time tonight and the crowd is not happy. However the boos go silent as Steve Awesome is lead out at the point of a tazer being held by Laura Howlett, in her other hand is a microphone. }

Laura: I told you! Mr. Awesome would be punished for his actions at October Revolution! And now I would like to welcome you to the PUNISHMENT OF STEVE AWESOME!

{ Steve backs down the ramp as Laura keeps the tazer pointed right at him. Spike Kane walks out from the back wielding a barbed wire wrapped bat, Rob Diamond is out next with 2x4 with nails sticking out of it, Zasshu is next with Noah Field, the two of them carrying a table and in Zasshu’s other hand is light fluid, curious by his absence is Cable Arcane. }

Terri Morasco: Are you serious right now!?

Vasco Dias: Steve needs to pay for what he did!

Terri Morasco: He won a match!

Vasco Dias: A match he was supposed to lose!

{ Steve rolls into the ring and Laura climbs in with him, he looks to be trying to talk her down as the rest of the House joins her in the ring and surrounds Steve. }

Terri Morasco: This is going to be a horror show!

Vasco Dias: This is going to be the punishment that he deserves!

Terri Morasco: He doesn’t deserve this!

Vasco Dias: In the House’s eyes he does.

Terri Morasco: The House is disgusting!

{ Noah and Zasshu set up the table as Spike and Rob stand to either side of Steve Awesome. Spike yells at Steve “ARE WE PISSING OUR PANTS YET!?” }

Terri Morasco: This is bad… This is so bad…

Vasco Dias: This is what happens when he cross the House of Howlett!

{ Steve is still trying to talk his way out of this as Laura looks at him with a sick grin, Spike again taunting Steve yells “WELCOME TO PEE PEE PANTS CITY!” }

Laura: You crossed the House of Howlett!!! I warned you, Mr. Awesome, I told you what would happen and now, now you pay for your insubordination! 

{ Rob and Spike rear back with their weapons as Noah and Zasshu prepare to light the table but then Jake Conway, Dre Cutler, Jayson Mathews, Bob Pooler, Falcon and Nighthawk all spill out from the back!!! }

Terri Morasco: REINFORCEMENTS HAVE ARRIVED!!!

Vasco Dias: NO! They have no business being out here!

{ The six of them all come flying into the ring but Laura and the House are quick to get the hell out of dodge before anyone can touch anyone else! }

Terri Morasco: They saved him!

Vasco Dias: They’re going to pay for this!

{ Steve is looking around a little confused as the six men who came to his aid surround him and watch as the House regroups at the edge of the ramp. Jake and Jayson both personally check on Steve as he looks around, slightly horrified by what just happened because he knows Laura will blame him. }

Vasco Dias: Steve Awesome is under contract to the House of Howlett! He is contractually obligated to take this beating!

Terri Morasco: Well it looks like his friends and the enemies of the House feel differently!

Vasco Dias: This cannot stand! The House always wins!

Terri Morasco: Not tonight they don’t.

{ Dre Cutler defiantly steps to the front of the ring and challenges Noah to get in but Noah just smiles as he and the House back up the ramp. Falcon comes to the side of Dre and points to Noah Field. }

Terri Morasco: Is Falcon declaring himself Dre’s partner for next week?

Vasco Dias: Who cares!

{ Dre looks to Falcon and nods before pointing at Noah too. }

Terri Morasco: It looks like Dre has his partner for next week!

{ Dre Cutler, Falcon, Jake Conway, Steve Awesome, Jayson Matthews, Nighthawk and Bob Pooler all stand at the front of the ring now staring down the House of Howlett who stands at the top of the ramp as the show comes to a close. }
